PROCESS
We support the Bright Futures Fellows, women creatives in Saint Joseph County, Indiana, who participate in our Creative Catalyst planning process. The Creative Catalyst equips the Fellows with the tools and connections to navigate barriers and develop both personally and professionally as they pursue their goals. Ultimately, it enables them to build pathways to economic mobility through their creative work.
This process draws on the strategic consulting expertise of Bright Futures founder Lawrence Greenspun, who developed and directed the Drucker Institute’s public sector strategic and comprehensive planning services, helping clients do the right things the right way.
The Creative Catalyst
-
Bright Futures meets with each Fellow to learn their story, understand their goals, and help them articulate a vision of what success looks like.
-
Bright Futures develops detailed strategic plans with each Fellow, offering them a personalized roadmap to achieve their ambitions.
-
Bright Futures connects the Fellows to art-world stakeholders and community organizations that offer insight and resources to support the Fellows’ work, as well as to a physical space in which the Fellows can create and share their art.
-
Bright Futures continues to meet with Fellows throughout their creative journey, providing ongoing counsel that facilitates continued progress.
-
Bright Futures provides targeted funding to help Fellows navigate financial barriers and achieve their goals.
The Creative Catalyst is customized and ongoing, allowing us to partner with the Fellows as they build economic opportunity through their work. Through this process, Fellows develop greater clarity, confidence, and agency to pursue their creative and professional goals.
